Ok, I'm in the UK on a marriage visit visa. Hubby and I were married Sep 27 and are returning to the US for 3 weeks Oct 20th during which time I plan to (hopefully) be getting my Spouse visa to come back to the UK Nov 10th.
To make the whole application process over with as quickly as possible, I am planning on doing the online part of the application from here, tomorrow. Then making the biometrics appointment the first week of my time in the US and shipping off my docs asap after that in order to give plenty of time before we're scheduled to leave to receive my visa.
What I'm wondering is will the date for when I submitted the online application be crucial since it would be before I leave the UK? With the marriage visit visa I have to be back in the US when I submit the application. I think I've heard of people doing the online app before a wedding and submitting paperwork after the wedding and I just want to make sure it'd be alright for me as well.
