Guitar Hero

I know I'm not the only geek on here playing it. 

Just wondering if anyone knows if I can download the Guitar Hero 2 songs for Guitar Hero 3? I googled it but didn't find anything and I don't want to use my points to download something if it won't work.

On the XBOX 360

I have it on Wii, which doesn't offer downloading extra songs (darnit)... but from a quick google search, it doesn't appear you can download GH2 songs.

That's annoying that you can't download! Oh well. I think we are going to get a new guitar and guitar hero 2 today anyway.

I ended up buying Guitar Hero 2 and a second guitar yesterday.   

Just wanted to say that, GH is fun, yes I have played with friends but I am uncertain how people can play for hours! Not trying to ruffle feathers here, but why not save the money you spent on GH controlers (not guitars, they aren't guitars) and the game itself and get a real guitar??   I know everyone is not musically inclined but I feel that society has already lost interest in books, but now it's turning into musical intstruments. This is just my opinion, I'd rather pick up a guitar than play GH any day.

I understand what you are saying, Stephx86, but it's a game. It's not a guitar. I don't play guitar and I'm not particularly interested in learning to. I do enjoy video games and I have a great interest in books. I don't think one thing has anything to do with another.

FYI: I didn't start this thread as a social commentary on video games. That's a completely different subject altogether.
