Don't have to wait 2 years ?
« on: November 20, 2008, 05:31:09 PM »
Hi All,

I just want to make sure if I am right or not.
When i got the Spouse visa they told me that I do not have to wait for 2 years to apply for ILR because we are together from long time, is it correct ?
it is almost 14 years now.

thanks

If you were married and living together out of the UK for four years or more, then you should have been given a visa which is endorsed with (KOL req), which means that as soon as you pass the Knowledge of Life in the UK test, you can apply for ILR.

Yes, KOL req should be on the visa itself.
