If you live in a small town AKA:Podunk ,be prepared for your Defra paperwork to be a nightmare.

Your Defra people sound exactly like mine were -- I was in Austin, medium sized city, but they were about as helpful as that! I had to go back three times and tell them something was required that they insisted was not. (Long story and one I wish to wipe from my memory....) :(
