EEA Family Permit Processing Time in LA?

Hi - My husband is German and we are moving to London in December.  I applied for my EEA Family Permit on October 1st (confirmation from LA) .. it's already been 4weeks/20 business days.  What is the processing time people have experienced from LA for this type of visa?

I just need my passport back so we can go in November for a preview trip, and have no idea when it's going to come .. bleh!

15 business days is the standard, however you could have purchased the Priority procssing service for $150 that would have gotten it to you in 48 hours.

Not much you can do at this point other than wait, or send a politely worded email to the Complaints email address for Los Angeles advising them of your planned travel and ask if it would be possible to inquire as to the status of your application.

You also should have received an email from LA when they received your application stating what their processing time frames were.

Thanks for the response.  Bummed I didn't know about the priority processing service.  You're right I got a 5-15 working day estimate in my confirmation email when they received my application.  And I think my application is pretty straightforward.
