We've seen two episodes on BBC i-player so far.  The Kevin Branagh one, not the one with subtitles.  We like it.  A nice change from the fast and sexy approach of stuff like CSI and NCIS, etc.  Studied and thoughtful.  Almost soulful.

We watched it and, no surprise, my Swedish DF loved it. I enjoyed it, but was a little distracted and because of the slow pace, I had a hard time paying attention. When I have a chance, I'm going to re-watch it.

I love Kenneth Branagh to bits and think he's doing a fab job in this...the second episode was far superior.

Yes, I agree with your comments!  I'm really enjoying the filming/editing style as I've gotten weary of jumpy stuff.  I think the characters and the acting are great, and it's so fun to see Swedish scenery.  I'm looking forward to next week's episode!  I hope it carries on for several series like Morse.
