Just had a phone call an hour ago from Chicago Consulate .... My Finace Visa has been approved and it should be mailed to me shortly. ( WooHoooo !!!! )

Thank You to everyone here for the help and advice , this site has been immensely useful.

Hope everyone waiting also hear good news soon.

Path to Civil Partner Visa:
 6 November 2008 - online application
14 November 2008- civil union ceremony!!!
18 November 2008- biometrics
28 November 2008- docs sent to courier
 1 December 2008 - courier delivered package to Chicago Consulate
 1 December 2008 - CP visa issued!!!
 3 December 2008 - received visa at home
11 December 2008 - arrived in LHR to validate visa
 5 November 2010 - applied for ILR
18 November 2010 - ILR received
