Online Application submitted - Fee Paid - Changes Required!!

Dear All,

I have applied for PBS Tier-1 General visa application online through visa4uk and yet to appear for biometrics data collection. I have paid the fee.

There are some mistakes and some changes required in the submitted application form. the website doesn't allow to change the data. Please advise me in detail what should I do? I need to make changes.

Did you have to print your application after you applied? If so, you may be able to make corrections on the hard copy before you send it in.

**EDIT: Or doesn't the site give directions on what to do in case info is entered incorrectly?

It happened to me as well.  Mine's was not a major mistake though, it was more like a typo - I had misstated my father's hometown.  I wrote down the "correct" information on the form - I kinda remember reading it either in the guidance or answers to FAQ's, but definitely somewhere on the visa4uk website - and put my initials next to it.  I didn't face a problem with UKNY about it at all.

Hope yours is not a major mistake as well.  I think how serious the mistake matters a lot.

I had to make a couple corrections on my application before I sent it out, so I looked on the website and it instructs to just make your changes in pen on the app. form and initial it. That's what I did and I didn't have a problem.

1) My address has been changed, and so i have a different address & land-line no.

2) At that time I don't have a child but now i have a baby as well

3) The intended travel date is wrong I want to change it.

The 3rd one is a mistake but all others are changes in the circumstances.

Lastly, I applied online a month back but next week i will appear for the biometric data collection (after 35 days).

I think i should just make the corrections and send the form.


Any further advice/comments.

Change of circumstances form.

The official page states that :

"You should use this form to notify us of any changes to your details if you are in the United Kingdom."

so it is for the ONLY for the person in UK.

Please correct me if i misunderstood it.
