Spike's Junkyard Dogs!  I could really go for one right now.  Not exactly high class, but what I really want.

Well it looks like we decided to ditch New England this year. The exchange rate isn't that great and we don't think it is going to get better for awhile.

But have have decided to go to Sharm El Sheikh in October. Has anyone been? Am looking at 4* to 5* hotels. I do like the look of the Reef Oasis.

If you want history, there's always Plimoth Plantation!

Our boys loved it at the Plantation and it is beautiful, Plymouth is exceptional with fantastic places to eat and beautiful walks it is great no matter what the time of year we love it there. There should be a film studio being built there now also.

Stockbridge has the Norman Rockwell Museum, which used to be in a gorgeous old building right in the centre of town, but I believe it's moved out now to bigger facilities - that probably means there's more to see, but the old place was so nice.

Stockbridge is also near Lenox, where The Mount, Edith Wharton's home is. That's one of my very favourite spots in New England!

Isn't Stockbridge home of the Alice's Restaurant Massacree?
My friends and I discovered Newport, RI where there are loads of mansions that you can tour, if you are into stately homes.
Of course Boston is great, and we liked Salem as well.
Good things come to those who wait...a really long time.
