I'm sending my documents this Saturday. Half of my bank statements are originals the other 1/2 are printouts. Of the printouts, each page is stamped and the first page of each statement is signed. Is this ok? Do they also need to be signed on every page?  ???

Ok great! Thanks Tannersarms! :D I have looked over the guidance (I pour over it almsot daily.) I am just paranoid-especially since I wouldn't qualify to reapply due to the new masters requirement.

I thought just stamping was ok, but signing was also mentioned on this thead so I wanted to make sure I wasn't deficient with my stamping on every page and signature only on the first page. It's come down to where logically I have everything the requirements state but I'm so worried there's a catch I haven't explored. Again, rationally I think I'm ok, but paranoia is beginning to take over.  ;) It'll be good when it is out of my hands on Saturday so I can let my brain have a rest.

I took the guidance with me to the bank to show to the woman when I asked for her signature on all 40 pages of my bank statements, but she was fine with it and just gamely signed/stamped away.

I really have had good luck with HSBC when I do things in person, both here and back home in NY, though the online/telephone customer service leaves a bit to be desired!

Actually, having now woken up and opened my eyes fully and read your post, you're fine with just the stamp on every page. The guidance (for T1 at least) doesn't say anything about the statements needing to be signed. The stamp AND sign requirement is for electronic payslips - sorry for any confusion!

I called the CS people..she tells me that even if I order the statements, they would be the same as I print off from the Internet except that I have to pay the fee for each statement..

If I were you'd I'd keep going to different branches until someone agrees to stamp it. All you need is basically a return address stamp w/ the bank's name on it. I think if you ask enough people at different branches your bound to get what you need eventually.
