Guardian article mentions Lupe Pintos
« on: February 12, 2009, 06:38:31 PM »
An article on local food shops in the Guardian mentions Lupe Pintos as a place to buy American and Mexican food in Edinburgh and Glasgow.  I know the shop has been mentioned on these boards before, but I thought people might be interested in the article.

I love how they talk about Miracle Whip as an exotic substance!  (I'm still in the US--I'm sure I'll be dazzled by its exoticism in a year or so!)

me too!
i'd be lost without them!

The article mentions the Glasgow Lupe Pintos being near Mellis the cheesemonger, but doesn't mention the Edinburgh shop is also in the same road as another Iain Mellis cheese shop.  (just FYI if you're in Edinburgh!)
