When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Yes, a few weeks ago there was a team with the lowest score in that round ever.  They really took a beating.

I can't explain why I like this show, as it often makes me feel like a complete idiot.  :-[   :D

Gail Trimble is amazing though.

I watch it sometimes to see if I can answer any of the questions, like any other quiz show.

I don't really pay attention to the individual contestants.

I haven't seen Gail Trimble in action, but I'll definitely be watching tomorrow night - I love quiz shows (I blame my daddy for making Jeopardy compulsory watching at a very young age) and a good friend of mine has appeared on University Challenge several times, most recently as part of the Ministry of Justice team which won University Challenge: The Professionals. :)

Her hair flip drives me the madness.

I see a match made in heaven between her and Mendelblat - another button happy member of another Oxford team that didn't make it past the semi as he seemed to be under some silence spell.
