Even the tiramisu I'm not sure about (unless I make a huge one in my 13x9 pyrex glass casserole dish).

Mmmmmm...huge tiramisu. *drool* (Said in my best Homer Simpson voice) :P

I hope whatever you end up making turns out great. Good luck. :)

I would just like to report back to everyone that the Hot Choco puddings were a HUGE success.  Because of some last minute drama (isn't there always) I ended up prepping the batter at home and left immediately it was finished, then baked the puddings about 30-40 minutes later.  One pudding "fell" but the rest were poofy and perfect.  I served with a couple of mint leaves on top and a side of sliced strawberry and raspberries, and with some homemade vanilla bean custard (used a beans from River Swales woot!).  People were raving about it.  Small coffee cups (like French cafe sized, bigger than espresso but smaller than normal American coffee cups) were a perfect serving size.

One thing I would do differently is have a hand mixer to beat the egg whites.  Man is my shoulder tired!  That was BRUTAL (I only had a whisk, no power tool)

Again, thanks to everyone.  I think I'll try and make dessert for any dinner party, since it seems to be everyone's favorite!  :)

I'm glad it worked out so well  ;D.  Those puddings sound fantastic!  Could you post the recipe? I'd like to try them.

Wow, you whipped the egg whites by hand?  I am impressed.  I would never even attempt that!

The recipe I used was the one posted by EllieJean (originally posted by Mrs Robinson) on the first page of the thread:

Hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

But it was painful and took a solid 10 minutes.

Yaye! I'm glad they worked out well! My cousin does something like that - chocolate pots served in coffee cops. She puts a layer of cream on top and then sprinkles cinnamon or cocoa powder on so they look like real cappuccinos. Then she puts a little biscuit in the saucer. It's cute.

I can't believe you whipped the cream by hand either!! Are you mad?!?! Go out and buy yourself a hand mixer ASAP!!  :o

Oh man, I warned you about beating those egg whites by hand!  :o

Glad the puddings turned out well for you.  :)
