Anyone Waiting For a Visa from Chicago?

I was just curious to see if anyone else is waiting for a visa from the Chicago consulate.  I sent in my fiance visa (via courier) ...while I am by no means complaining (as I realise people from other countries have it much more tough), my courier said "the consulate was backed up"...just wanted to scope out the situation and see if this was true! 

I believe that some of the consulate staff have been away recently...on (well deserved) holidays and also for training on the new Tier 4 scheme, so there may be a slight back up.  I would guess it will be business as usual in a week or so...unless anyone more in the know can tell me otherwise?

Sounds about right. Cascading of training to factor in, but by next week things should be plain sailing - until T4 comes in.
