From my experience, I'd have never guessed some women felt practically forced into it.

Once you have kids they hard sell that damn thing to you so much you'd think there were no other options for birth control.

 ::)

Then if you get bad side effects they keep telling you to wait for it to 'settle'.

I've never had that happen to me - it was my decision to go for the Mirena after I'd done my research on it.

Not all doctors are the same, as I'm sure you're aware.

This is so so true.  I had mine 4 months too long because of "waiting to settle."

Not all doctors are the same, as I'm sure you're aware.

I don't go to doctors for contraceptive, I go to FPCs.  Can't remember the last time I saw an actual doctor for that sort of thing.
