What are your favourite audiobooks?

I've enjoyed:

Eat, Pray, Love
I Feel Bad about my Neck
The Kite Runner
The Geography of Bliss
Angela's Ashes

Am now listening to Lost on Planet China.

...authors names not handy at the moment....

Anything by Bill Bryson. I love his voice.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

I'm not generally a fan of audiobooks, but my dad loves the  Harry Potter series, and has listened to all of them.  He gave me The Prisoner of Azkaban, and I do enjoy it, though I think Jim Dale makes Hermione too whiny.
On s'envolera du même quai
Les yeux dans les mêmes reflets,

The last audiobooks I heard was one written and narated by Allan Titmarsh..I can't remember the name of it now but it was great.  It was about a little old lady who realised she needed to *live a little* before she died and was breaking the law and getting up to allsorts...and...her loving grandson trying to put her on the straight and narrow.  Its was really funny..not what I had expected.

Other than that...years and years ago when I was a kid, my grandad would always play me Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds to me in the summer holidays.  :-\\\\

Audiobooks are great for long road trips, especially with kids.  My brothers family would always play a Harry Potter or similar on long trips with the kids.  I only listened to them occasionally until I came to Uganda.  My SIL has given me about 30 for my Ipod and I mainly listen to them while I do ironing.  Yes, ironing.  Every single piece of laundry must be ironed (you don't want to know why-it's icky).

David Sedaris, David Sedaris, DAVID SEDARIS :D

I actually prefer his audiobooks over the printed ones, because his voice adds so much to his words.
