Frustrated with Let Agency

So it's almost been a week since DF went into our let agency asking for the letter of permission for me to reside in the house. NOTHING. I am ready to rip my hair out. (A backstory here, our Landlord owns the agency and prefers not to deal with his tenants so he has the staff at the office do everything for him.) When he went in they demanded that I be put onto the lease and that i fill out an application.

I did this and sent it back to them the same day. We tried to explain that in the meantime we just need a letter explaining the property and giving permission. WRONG. The lady refused to do this. I am so angry right now I can't even begin to think straight.

This is the very last thing I need in order to send in my application. I did my bios on Friday and now I'm terrified that the agency isn't going to have this all ready in time. DF still has to send me everything overnight, I have to overnight it to the Courier, and then she has to get it into the Consulate.

I finally emailed the Agency a minute ago explaining the situation entirely and coming just short of begging them to do something, anything to help me out here. Df has never been late on his rent and never given them any problems in the two years he's been in the home. I don't understand why this is taking them so long.

Does anyone have any thoughts or advice? I'm at the end of my rope.  :\\\'(

He turns up, on a Saturday, and doesn't leave until they write the letter or give a copy of the amended lease.  Or, when you completed the new lease, did you keep a copy?

I completed the application to be put on the lease, emailed it into them, they charged him £75 to do this, then told us they'd let us know when it was ready. That was almost a week ago and nothing. He calls or goes in every day and they say "sorry just waiting to get it back from the credit check" or some crap like that.

I think he's going to have to go in and just sit there til they do it. Trouble is he owns his business and works everyday this week. I'm hoping the email I sent will do something.
