Bacon in chocolate? Ummm yeah...
« on: April 24, 2009, 06:04:19 PM »
http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/  and more specifically  http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/product/bacon_exotic_candy_bar/exotic_candy_bars

I love their bars and I just had to try this one... it is nothing I ever would have thought about doing... yet it's oddly good.  It's kind of like eating bacon with maple syrup only not as sweet...

or a side of bacon with chocolate chip pancakes...

I haven't tried it, but I know I'd love it. That sweet and salty thing is mmmm good. Besides that, I think we have very similar food likes (and names)!  ;)

I saw those at Cost Plus a few weeks ago!  Even took a picture of the package to show DH. ;D

I think next time I'm there I'll fork out the cash and try it, because it looks goooood.

Oh yes....

you should hunt down the Barcelona one then... the sea salt and chocolate combination is just amazing.  It's like eating chocolate by the seaside... it marries well with a nice strong oaky red as well.

I buy one every few months or maybe once a month as a treat.  They are expensive!

And Contrex.. it's not pickle flavored chocolate! ;)
