I'm at the Airport!!

Just wanted to say Thanks to everyone again and share the news that I'm at the airport waiting to board my flight to Heathrow. I'll let everyone know how the IO there was when I get settled.   [smiley=smitten.gif]

We've notified Heathrow and they have an extra staff waiting for you and they are the meanest nastiest ones we could find. ;D

I'm sure you will be fine and they will welcome you to the UK. I wish we could all be there to help you and welcome you.

This is not a good time to share this but I took my MIL with us once and when we were in the "cattle pens" at Heathrow there was a woman in uniform barking out orders like we were new Marine Corp recruits. My MIL looked at her and laughed and I think the woman knew. My MIL was just shocked by the manner of the uniformed person but fortunately we were not hastelled and were able to land.
This happens on both sides. I still remember arriving by boat in NY and the customs or emigration were very rude.

HAHAHA omg I almost shanked a lady on the tube today on my way into Halloway for doing that. We're in town a day or two more. You're in London proper yeah? PM me.
