I need a mango chutney recipe with no raisins if possible.  Anyone have a good one to share?

We'll have a look in Mom's many Indian cookbooks. Normally, she just buys Major Grey's which, of course, isn't really Indian at all. Are you looking for fresh, or something you'll can?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Something that I can can.  (Or rhumba or cha cha cha...) ;D

Basically a Sharwoods type one.  I have hard slightly under ripe mangoes.  Thanks by the way... I'm at mom and dad's and all my books are at my house and I need to do it this weekend!

Sorry! We looked and there isn't really anything like Sharwoods in our cookbooks for some reason. Very odd. Mom suggested just using one with raisins but leaving them out if you don't like them and adjusting the amount of sugar as you may want more without the sweetness of the raisins.

We did find an interesting recipe for green mango chutney here:

I used to use a recipe by Jack Santa Maria but unfortunately I don't have that book any more - it was from his Indian Vegetarian Cooking, in case you see it anywhere.
