Dw has a similar problem with music she bought from Rhapsody, and sheis no longer subscribed to it as it's not available in the UK. Is there a way to convert WMA files?

Life was so much simpler with 45s.....    :)

I would definitely aim to convert everything to a non-protected format of some kind so you're not dependent upon some other party for the continued use of the files.  I'd say change everything to straight PCM audio files which can be burned onto an audio CD to retain the best quality, then just recompress to MP3 or whatever format you want for pocket players etc.

Stripping DRM from music files is almost certainly against EULA, and definitely against DMCA*, therefore the method is not something that should be discussed on this forum.

I will, however, say that google is your friend in such matters. Good luck.
