We stayed at
Blairdhu House in Kyleakin on Skye. It's a little cheaper than you're looking for (£75/night), and the location wasn't particularly dramatic (it's got a nice view, but it doesn't stand atop a cliff overlooking the sea or anything like that), but the house is very nice, clean, and the bath towels were the softest ones I've ever used (they were truly amazing). The woman running things was very friendly, and recommended an excellent restaurant in Plockton, which is just over the bridge on the mainland. We aren't into the social aspects so much, but there were always a few other couples or a family at breakfast to say hello to.
Kyleakin is right over the bridge from the mainland, but if you've got a whole day to explore, you should be able to see the whole island, depending on how fast or slow you go. We drove around the entire island, including out a tiny little road to Ramasaig because I wanted to see how remote it was (answer: very), stopping at Dunvegan, Portree, and a few other random places where we saw something interesting, and we were still back at the B&B around 6pm.
As I said in Navie's thread, there seems to be a B&B about every 100 feet in Scotland, and a lot of them aren't on the internet, so depending on how adventurous you are, if you don't find anything you like on the web prior to leaving, you will most likely be able to find something along the way. We were there just last week and saw many B&B's with vacancies.
Have fun!
