Popsicles!

I love popsicles in the summer and hate spending lots of money on them. My mom is sending me a popsicle mold (though you can get them at Lakeland) and I've come across the following sites with great ideas and recipes:

Pricey little buggers tho!  £14.95!  I think I'll see if my mom can find one too....it'll be December before she sends it, no doubt, but think of the savings.  :)

I remember a friend's mother using paper and plastic cups so go ahead and try them!  ;D

IKEA in England sells popsicle molds for dirt cheap prices in the summer.

Here is a great idea. I hate popcicles cos they NEVER have the green ones. SO i take Koolaid and put it in Ice trays. cover the ice tray with ice and put  toothpicks in the center of each square. Freez till frozen and YUMMY.
  This was also on  one of those  old school Saturday morning shows. BUT htey work and do the trick and its REAL Cheap :)

 U can always have someone get u some Kool-Aid from the States. its hella cheap i know u know this :)  or if u have some  Kool -Aid laying around .. there ya go. :)
  U can do that with Jello too :) I hate jell-0 but if u  hot and want a sweet treat :) it works

LOL...are you from Cali or what?! I lived outside of Sacramento for a while (moved back two summers ago) and my teenage daughter was always..."hella this" or "hella that!" Here in Maine we say "wicked" instead!

I thought it was so sweet when the twins and I were in the UK and Dimitri had bought them some "ice lollies" in anticipation of our visit. Now that we're back here, they still call them that. That was the first time they had ever had popsicles (I'm more into ice cream!)

Is Tupperware sold in the UK?  They have very good molds. Expensive, but the plastic taste does not seem to migrate in the popsicle.

Tupperware used to be sold here but haven't heard of anyone doing it for ages. My mum has their popsicle/ice lolly mould!

Oh and further to Balmerhon's post my friend's mum used to use egg cups!
