Each persons experience will be different. Given that you weren't acutally bounced on arrival but just refused a visa and have since cleared up whatever the issues were and received a visa, I would GUESS most likely not.

Fingers crossed -- hope not.  Thanks so much for your response!

Even with a spousal visa I still get detained because of the red flag. The exception is when my Husband travels with me, the IO asks where he is and I point to him behind the IO's desk,  then the red flag mysteriously disappears.
They say they will have it removed but the next time I enter I'm asked about an inquiry made and the inquiry is the request the red flag is removed.
Being detained coming back from Europe is OK but it's annoying feeling the effects Tylenol PM and a glass of wine coming back from the US.

I was refused a Tier 1 visa earlier this year but subsequently obtained an EEA Family Permit. I still get detained every time. :(

Although things are much better when I am taking the Eurostar to/from Paris so I'm almost tempted to go that route instead. :P
