Parent's Permission Letter - This Sound Good?
« on: July 30, 2009, 03:34:01 PM »
I've researched a lot of information on the letters for a parent's permission to take the child to live in the UK.  My daughter's father has agreed and this is the letter I've drafted for him to sign:

To Whom It May Concern,
I, xxxxx, am the biological father of xxxx.  I am aware of her mother's, xxxx, application and intent to settle in the UK.  I give my permission and support of this application.

From what I've seen this will suffice for the letter.  It just seems so short and simple.  I feel like there should be more involved.  I've told him to notarize it and send it back as soon as possible.

Is this good?

Sounds good, here's anther example just incase you need one: http://www.londonelegance.com/transpondia/spouse/childmovement.pdf from this site: http://www.londonelegance.com/transpondia/fiance/. Also you'll need to have it notarized or else it could be just joe blow across the street signing it.
