So I'm like 95% positive this new flat I'm in has a dish already installed in the back of the house with the lead coming into the living room.  I'm toying with the idea of FreeSat. So from what I gather, first you buy the box and then you pay an installation charge and then you never need to pay for TV again? 
I'm not particulary bothered with tv, but I thought if I can get lots of tv channels and HD channels without paying a subscription, then why not?
Anyone use FreeSat?

If it's a small fixed dish already present, it's a good bet it's already aligned on the Astra 2/Eurobird 1 cluster of satellites at 28.2 deg. E.

Hook up a suitable receiver, and you'll be able to receive all the channels listed here which are indicated as free-to-air:

Thanks, bought the box yesterday, just need to play with the wires and connections now.
