Anyone seen this in the shops lately?
« on: September 14, 2009, 12:04:40 PM »
I'm dying for those Fage Total 2 % individual yoghurt pots with the honey pot on the side.  :\\\'( I love taking them to work with me. Sainsbury's used to have them, but now they are gone, and Morrison's doesn't seem to carry them. I know I can buy the yoghurt with the honey mixed in (not as good) and I also know I could just make it myself at home with the big containers of yoghurt, but for me, the ones with the honey pot attached were the perfect breakfast-to-go. Thanks!

Come to think of it I've not seen them for a while.  DH really liked them so I used to buy 'em for him.  Too much honey for me, so I'd give it to him.  :)

I've never bought them (I like adding my own) but I did have a look for you at our Tesco yesterday and there were none on the shelf. You could ask at your Morrison's - I've asked for stuff before at supermarkets and they've actually started stocking it! Either that, or email the Fage people. Perhaps it's been discontinued completely?

I'm not sure there IS such a thing as too much honey.  ;)

[smiley=sa3.gif] Don't say that, Chary! You're breaking my heart! [smiley=badlove.gif]

Thanks for having a look for me. I will ask at the supermarket. Guess I should just start doing it myself at home (which you wouldn't think would be too much trouble, but I like my extra 10 minutes of sleep!) I couldn't even find the 2% yoghurt last time I was shopping, though. Only 0% or full-fat, and I like the in between. Oh well! I'm sure I will find something.  :-\\\\

I just had some two weeks ago, from Sainsbury's, and they had loads of them. I had no idea they were such a rare commodity or I would've bought the lot!  :\\\'( Pure heaven, I tell you. I'll never feel that way again!

I think they discontinue things here a lot more than at home.  Maybe it is because the stores are smaller, so that means less room for new products?

Well, I wouldn't complain if they started carrying the ones with the jam pot on the side like I had in Greece. (Though the honey is better, IMO.)  :) Guess I can get up ten minutes earlier to have my Greek yoghurt and honey fix, then. I'm such an addict thanks to all of you talking about how good it is!  ;D

I'm all the way over here in Texas and my local supermarket (Kroger) recently stopped carrying the kind with honey too. They only have the kind with cherries now.
