Hi,

I could not locate an answer to this on the forum...

For a US citizen living and working in the UK it is possible to deduct normal UK taxes deducted from his/her paycheck for the purposes of foreign tax credit (form 1116).

Is it possible to deduct NI (national insurance) contributions as well?

Thanks!

Mike

NI cannot be used for FTC purposes.
