Too much poetry, not enough wacky performance art.

I actually went to the plinth today and sat through two plinthers.  Not very interesting stuff.  I think the second lady was reading something, but I couldn't hear her.  The first woman just stood with her arms out every once in a while and tossed sweets to children.

I think it's the sort of thing that's better online than in person. I can do the ironing or a crossword or something at the same time.  :P

You should have said!  We could have looked for you.  :)

I thought about it once I was there, but I wasn't sure if the camera panned out at all.  If I go again, I will definitely post here.  Mr. A. and I plan on going to the National Gallery soonish and we pass Trafalgar Square every time we go to a Friends meeting.

I wasn't bored at all.  I brought a book, my notebook, and my camera.  I had a good time but was getting annoyed at being sprayed by the fountains.  I am a bit nervous about what's in that water. ;)

We're going there today so that Mr. A can see the plinth.  Not sure when we'll be there or how long we'll stay (probably going into the gallery), but I will post from my phone.

We're here. Right now we're sitting next to the plinth on the stairs. Will probably wander later.

They hardly showed any pictures of the crowds today! Boo.  I looked but didn't see you.

We actually didn't stay watching the plinth long.  I wanted to watch it a bit later, but we both wanted lunch and it started raining.

On an unrelated note, someone spray painted "NHS" on one of the lions by the column.  Good going, jerks.

I've enjoyed stopping by the plinth most every day! It can be quite entertaining at times. I will have to keep up via internet when I'm home I guess. Kind of curious what people do during the overnight ones.

Same thing, really... poetry, knitting, singing, etc.  Although one girl did celebrate her birthday the other morning (4am-ish).  That was kind of fun to watch.

I like watching the late night ones because you can actually hear what they're doing.  During the day with the crowds and fountains going, it can be hard to hear anything.

I'm having a hard time with the website, so I can't figure it out.  Are they finishing at midnight tonight, or going into tomorrow?  Anyone know?  I'm curious to see what they do at the end.
