I like both of them and I think it's really sweet that you remember her talking about pink sapphires AND her favorite color!!  I think the first one looks more like an engagement type ring whereas the second one looks more like a wedding type band.  But either one...they're both gorgeous!

I prefer the first one. But that's just cos I'm more traditional! Beautiful either way! Good luck. I'm getting all giddy for you!

First one definately, screams engagement ring!  She is going to be grinning from ear to ear.  Make sure and bring some extras tissues too, she might cry.  I am not a girly girly at all, but when my fiance purposed I started to tear up.
