Yankee relocating from Switzerland to UK.......

Hello Everyone!

We got the official offer this morning -- and are excited about moving to the UK!  We currently live in Geneva -- has anyone made the move from Switzerland to the UK?  (many questions about appliciances)

Also -- anyone know any great relocation people in the Birmingham area?

If you're moving to the Birmingham area you may be interested in our house in the Cannock area (about 20 miles north of Birmingham).

I'll have a word with HRH this evening regarding relocation people local to us. She's sorting out the details with regards to our move to the US. She posts here as MarsBar.

As for your appliances, they should be ok, but obviously you'll need plug adapters. Don't take that as gospel though. I shall investigate further.
