Sounds good, but those prices are eye watering!  £6.50 for a desert?

Hi Everyone,
I have 2 sites I have used personally and had no problems with other than American food overseas is super expensive. I am in Italy, but these sites ship to Europe/UK.

myamericanmarket.com - This is the site I use most most. They have the largest variety of items and can usually find what I am looking for. They have different shipping options.

newcomer link: http://www.usafoodstore.co.uk [nonactive] - This site have a nice variety. I use this site when I need to buy bulk. Mostly for the kids parties and holidays. That way I can save a few bucks when I need multiple cake mixes, frosting, kool aide/tang, pancakes and syrup. They have quite a few items you can purchase by case and save money. Shipping was good, and for those of you who live nearby, I believe they have an actual store in London (check the site).

These are sites that saved but never used, I think because of the currency exchange prices were higher. They have a great variety. I also remember that they had free shipping for UK and/or had actual stores. Check the sites out.

Someone posted about Rice O Roni. I hated paying so much for a box, so I played until I found a homemade version of the basic chicken flavor which is pretty close. Sorry I dont have actual measurements, I basically go by eye, and each bullion is a cup of water. I figure I'll share, not promising you'll love it, but hey ya never know. You need: Butter, Long Pasta 10/15 pieces (vermacelli, angelhair, spaghetti ect), Rice, Chicken flavored bullion cubes (I use cubes instead of powder because I find powdered bullion sweeter than the cubes. 1cup water per cube) and whatever seasoning you want to add (bullion adds enough salt). Melt enough butter to cover bottom on pan low/medium flame. Break up long pasta into half inch pieces, stir and saute until golden, add more butter if needed. Add rice (i use 500gr) saute and stir until golden. Add to 2cups water and 2 bullion cubes to rice and pasta. Bring to a quick boil, reduce heat to minimum cover stir and allow water to evaporate (if rice is still uncooked add more water). Quick and easy. Enjoy.

I didn't read all the posts so if I have repeated info already posted, sorry.

0000000000000000000000000000000000 pizza!

The Daughter tells me that Chipotle in London is true to taste as it was in SoCalif, but you'll need to bring your own lemons/limes as they don't have any.

You can buy many American foods all over the UK and more so in London, not only in supermarkets but specialist shops which have many overseas foodstuffs. A quick google comes up with many and some even deliver.

Ok.  So here's a hard one.  My favorite soda is TAB.  I can't find it on any of the websites, and I really don't want to pay something like a hundred bucks to have my mom ship me some.  Anyone know where to find it?

I thought TAB was illegal because of it's highly addictive nature.  Crack in a can!  Or maybe I'm just stuck on the 80s version that was full of saccharine.

Saccharine was only legal because the industry bribed Senator Jesse Helms (R, NC)

Sorry, I'm ranting again...

It was addictive? Barf!

Coke brought it back a couple of years ago. Still made from the same formula.

This place has it listed but it's out of stock. I'd call them anyway and ask them what the situation is.

eta- All the others have it listed no longer in stock... see what you mean.  :-\\\\

Would Lupe Pintos have it maybe?

It IS addictive, unfortunately.  It's the same as it ever was.... What's funny is my highly health food nut parents are why I'm addicted to it.  I was rarely allowed soda as a child, but when they did let me have some, all they allowed was TAB.  But, now I'm jonesing for some.
