Yeah, Virgin needs to be petitioned.

Now there's two reasons I wish I had Sky....
American sports and Food Network.....

Eh? You can get just as many American sports on Virgin

I thought I'd miss the Food Network, but I've fallen so in love with UKTV Food that I don't think I'll even bother tuning in.  :-\\\\

(I do love the Barefoot Contessa, but we get her here anyway.)

Snap!

I do like some of it - I like some Iron Chef episodes. Oh and I like that rich guy with the fancy house in Napa - Michael something or other maybe? I'll probably watch it occaisionally though so glad to know it's there!

Found him: http://www.foodnetwork.com/easy-entertaining-with-michael-chiarello/index.html Michael Chiarello. He's got a fab house and fab friends who he entertains -bit like a male, west coast, metrosexual Barefoot Contessa.  ;)

Ugh. I hate him. He's soooo condescending! He was on Top Chef Masters and really couldn't understand why no one liked him. ::)

That said, I'm sure his recipes are great... he's a bit like Gary Rhodes to me... a good chef that I don't want to watch.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

ESPN and ESPN America are also available on Virgin, infact they are free if you are on the XL package.
ESPN America shows NHL, NBA, MLB, college football and college basketball.
NFL is not on ESPN, it's on Sky Sports. Sky Sports is also available on Virgin.

Yeah, we don't have those channels... :(  However, I did find the Pats/Colts game on ITV? (I think??) and have recorded that!!!

Back to topic, I'm a Tyler Florence and Giada DeLaurentis lover.  And when I'm feeling like I need to clog my arteries I love a little Paula Deen.

Man, I miss Food Network....
