Congrats!!!  Laurie and Brooke.

That is great news.  That emailing thing really works, and they are quick to get back to ya.  Let me know how your interview went, it is a bit nerve racking, I just can't wait to get it over with.

I am very sorry to hear about her father taking a turn for the worst.

Take Care,
Mel

Laurie,

Stu told Mart and I that things werent going well for Brooke's dad. I really hope things look up soon. Please pass our best wishes on to Brooke. But how fantastic that, should things go well at the interview (and Im sure they will!), you'll both be back out in San Diego very very soon! Talk about good timing.

Im so glad to hear that you got your date. I thought you might have! I was expecting more notice than that too! Oh well, I guess that week off for the Embassy was to clear up their backlog - guess it worked!!! Hope you have all your papers ready to go! Mart and I will be sending you good vibes for your interview. Take care!!

FYI - I've split a few topics from this thread, since it started becoming intimidatingly (is that a word?) long for newbies to sort through for info. :D Hope I didn't screw anything up, and all apologies if I did. ;)
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!
