Sears in the UK!

I was shopping on line today and and Sears is offering international shopping and shipping.  I checked prices on some clothes, some were ok, some too expensive.

They are using a service called "Fiftyone" for payment, customs clearance, atc

The site, "www.fiftyone.com" lists info and retailers

at least credit cards will work

    *  Customs duty if the amount of duty is €10 (£7) or over
    * Import VAT if the value of the goods is €22 (£18) and over
    * Excise duty for some goods like alcohol and tobacco

When calculating the amount add in your shipping charge. And some shippers (see the link) may charge you processing.

Yeah, no different that ordering from some Ebay sellers or Etsy sellers or whatever. Just a risk you take with international shipping.

Confused. I thought that HMRC dropped duty charges on internet orders under £150?

You'll still pay the vat, of course, and ParcelFarce's "extortion", sorry, I meant "handling" fee of £8
