Yes, thank you so much for this!  Homesick today, didn't think I would be as it's my 2nd Thanksgiving away, but my daughter's here this time, maybe that's the difference.

Thanks for the link. I'm in the US but so annoyed by the coverage here, I've given up watching it on TV and switched to the computer. There are so many commercials and stupid interviews that the TV coverage is virtually pointless now. :(
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Seriously. I just watched some woman tell us about how she packs up leftovers in ziplock containers to send home with guests. Hello, sponsor mention! Geez.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't seen that parade for over 30 years! The boy is off school tomorrow so I'll be able to show him what a parade is.

It was cool that the whole thing was streamed, not just highlights. And it sounds like tv coverage is still as bad as I remember (reporters paid by the word?)

It did bring back a few memories of my childhood Thanksgivings. May have to look into arranging a holday around Thanksgiving one year.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.
