Anyone in Eastbourne?
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:40:46 PM »
So many of our woes of the past two months have been solved by that simplest and rarest of things -- a really good job offer. Which leads me to ask, is anyone here in Eastbourne? How do you like it? It looks like we're to be moving down there within the next few weeks...

Yea! So happy for you and your family.  I have no answer to your question but I'm happy that things are looking up!

Thanks! Yes, it's a nice feeling -- never ever pictured myself living in that area, but now that it's happening I feel really happy about it.

Hi I am living near eastbourne area, about 5 miles outside of it...i came from near detroit so it was quite an adjustment for me moving to the english countryside...i love walking on the seafront in eastbourne..you can walk for about 6 miles and view the white cliffs, i love the ice cream shop fusciardis, i love walking on the downs with my dog... love being near the sea....what part of eastbourne are you moving to?  we used to live of the seafront near princes park and i quite liked that area cuz we could walk into town...people complain about the shopping....hubs and i were looking to move but changed our minds becz we felt the location we were in was too good - for all the above reasons....i have lived in this area for 7 years and think it is great..my hubs grew up in eastbourne  .we are so close to london, brighton and other areas...any questions let me know
