mailing my passport to the US
« on: December 03, 2009, 11:15:46 AM »
I was sent a form to fill out for renewal of my driver's licence in New Jersey. I have to send them my American passport, licence and SS card for the 6 points proof. My question is : what is the safest way I can send these and get them back without losing them in the mail? Please help. Thanks

I thought you had to renew in person in NJ. Has it changed?

Just had a look here, which seems to confirm that.

I wasn't able to renew my NJ license for that reason.

Well I had my sister in America, called them up and gave them a good excuse and they actually sent me the form but I have to send all original copies of documents only.
