America, land of the class action law suit equals Maclaren protecting their but.

I always make a point not to fold my Maclaren with my children near, it's not a toy. I really don't care about the hinge protectors but that earlier statement about Maclaran not recalling her just made them look stupid and uncaring. Not good for their image at all.

And what is the difference of a recall in the states and a recall here? I thought they were the same and I love how they didn't elaborate on that one.

When a manufacturer recalls a product here, it means you give it back in exchange for a full refund or a different product. Supplying hinge covers is not a 'recall' over here. I think that was explained in one of the articles I posted.
