Jon Stewart on More 4
« on: December 15, 2009, 08:43:25 PM »
A little slice of happiness. I adore the Daily Show and its so nice to see its part of the weekday platform on More 4. And I was wondering how so many British people knew what Sarah Palin was up to on a daily basis. Thank you Daily Show  ;D

I have to watch it as an antidote after DW has watched O'Reilly on Fox! It helps to keep me sane ;D

We did also used to get the Colbert Report on FX but they stopped showing it.

I don't know how you could stand watching Fox with someone who is watching it to actually get news/be informed.

TDS is great.  My husband loves it too.  One of the best ways to keep up on American politics.  For instance, the night before last I went to watch "America This Week" from the Beeb on BBC iPlayer on my V+ box.  After 15 minutes of General Petraeus at a Senate committee hearing, we switched over to watching a weeks worth of episodes from TDS.  Not only did we learn more, I didn't risk falling asleep.

Let's just say we've been through that and come to an agreement!

We discovered the Daily Show a few years ago while visiting the states. I nearly wet myself with excitement when we found it on More4. I love that guy!
