I miss having a local Starbucks...it's probably good for our budget that the nearest one is a train ride away.

I got into the eggnog latte pretty heavily this year.  I would have Mr. A. pick one up on his way home fairly regularly.  I will miss it. :(

I remember seeing the holiday syrups on sale in Starbucks, but I cant remember if it was in the US or UK.  At my local Starbucks they dont sell the bottled syrup.

I've bought them at Costa or some other coffee place before.

I had a tip from a Starbucks Barista today. To have Toffee Nut Lattes year round, just order a latte with 1/2 caramel & 1/2 Hazelnut syrup & Add Cream. It was even more yummy (and cheaper too).

To get this at the regular latte price, just use a starbucks gift card and register it on the Starbucks.co.uk website and you get free syrups, extra shots & cream! So a £3.45 coffee cost me £2.65!  ;D

A registered Starbucks card also gets you free wifi!

You guys are so lucky!! We don't have a Starbucks here...

We have 2 Costa's..owned by the same man that I swear is part Troll. Horrid man!
I don't like Costa either their coffee always taste burnt to me. We do have a couple independent coffee places which are nice.

I would really like a Pret a Manger here on the IoM..they have one in Gatwick Airport and we eat there everytime we go thru........Mmmmm

I worked at a Costa for all of 2 days. Their lattes are good, but never get a "regular" coffee there. They give you an Americano. Totally not the same thing!  ::)
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Exactly why I don't like Costa. They sell coffee drinks, not coffee.
