Liquid Smoke

Is it possible to buy liquid smoke in the UK? I've done some googling and I can buy it on americansweets.co.uk but I was wondering if it's possible to pick up locally?

Doubt you'll find it in the regular shops.  Think I bought some from Lupe Pintos:

Oh, I go to Edinburgh a lot. (My ILs live there). If I don't get around to ordering it that can be an excursion! I'm sure my husband will just love that.. *snickers*

I haven't ever seen it in the states, but I do have two bottles in my fridge.

I found something at Morrisons, its a tiny little bottle of Chipolte Peppers steeped in Vinegar and IMO you could totally substitute some of the liquid for liquid smoke. Its worth a try!

I have that too - the chipotles in vinegar (from Morrisons - lol!).  :)  But I don't think I'd substitute that for liquid smoke, myself.

In the bad old days when I didn't live near a Lupe Pintos, I bought Liquid Smoke on eBay.
