IM ON MY WAY

went yesterday and got my babies rabies vaccine.......my vet is kicking in and doing fantastic......she had certificates all ready for me that i needed for cunard.....we filled out forms together.......on march 8th we go back to have blood drawn for the titers......i want to thank everyone for answering questions and helping out when in need....plus ill never forget the swift butt kicks i needed when i got ever so stressed out.....i feel so much better about the entire process now.......so we are on our way to success!!!!!!
im certain ill have more questions......speaking of which what type of tick/tapeworm did your pet friend get.....is it normal frontline ??

It is two separate treatments - For the tapeworm part, tell your vet the treatment you need is to treat against the tapeworm Echinococcus multilocularis and that the medicine used must contain praziquantel.   I believe what they use is actually Drontal/Droncit.

For the tick part - yes, they will get Frontline.

called the usda/nc today........pricing for our OFFICAL STAMP is $111.00 for the first dog and $6.25 for the second one........steff

Congrats! I moved from Charlotte (via NY) just six months ago and am happy to say that my dog, Star, has never been so happy. She loves being able to run 'round the park off leash and we're both just loving it here.
I flew Virgin with Star and have to say that they were incredibly (!) helpful to me -- both before we left and even until we were reunited at the Animal Reception Centre.
My one piece of doggy advice (that I just learned today!): When getting ready to travel for a weekend, it's more difficult to book a kennel than it is back home. Be sure to make plans well in advance! :)
