I know there have been a few threads about this, but I haven't managed to find out what I need to know. Also, I have tried phoning the IRS information line in the US, who gave me another number to call, presumably at the Treasury Dept, but that number doesn' t work. So, what I want to know is, if I have a joint account with my UK citizen spouse, do I report the whole balance, or just half of this?
