Pound City in Grays, Essex

Just thought I would let those living in the Essex area around Grays know that not too long ago a Pound store opened up called Pound City.  The best thing is they have imported a lot of American goodies from the states.  I was talking to the owner and he's due to get another container load in two weeks.  You will find the odd bits and pieces and it's always changing.  Some are just the generic form but they are still good.  And the best bit is most of it is only around a quid!  How he makes his money I'll never know!  In the past I've bought the vanilla wafers (for making banana pudding I was so missing), Saltines, and some sweets!  I was there today and saw S.O.S scouring pads, Dawn washing up liquid, my husbands deoderent (Speedstick) he so loves.  I found Sauve shampoo and conditioner.  I even found some products that are the Wal-mart brand Equate and stuff from CVS pharmacy.  They have Pepto-Bismal, band-aids... It's worth having a look if you get into Grays.
