Heh. I just like them with sour cream. My mother, on the other hand, mixes her cuisines and puts salsa on them!!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

i'd always bought my pierogies at lidl/aldi etc... but today at asda i saw that they had fresh ones.  so excited for dinner tomorrow - boil, fry, onions & bacon.  divine.

Last night DW and I were watching an episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen nightmares which was recorded in Philly and the restaurant there served perogies, I had to ask DW what they were....and then today there's this thread!

I love pierogies!  I get 'em right at Tesco, though I know you said you couldn't get them there.  You can always make your own as well :)

I wound up finding some at a polish shop. :) They're way too much work to make myself! So I'm very grateful. :P I would have otherwise, but I didn't really want the hassle...
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

I think they're good with crumbled bacon.  :D

Isn't everything?  ;) :)

Glad to hear you've got some PL!

Pierogies are awesome deliciousness!   ;)

I miss Parish Fish Fries for Lent as they used to serve the fish with them (and chips).  My favourite Polish shop apparently stopped selling them, so now looking elsewhere.  Now I need to go to ASDA at Rotherham to get some if I want any as I *know* they sell 'em, but will have to checkout the Sheffield one next time I go to see if they do too.

We've got frozen ones at our Tesco too - and it's a small one!
