Don't know if it's true or not, it seems that only the tabloids are covering the story at the moment but I really hope she has broken it off for good with him.

What a rat.

I read an article on her recently where she was talking about how much she wanted to have kids soon. I guess if the rumours are true, then it's best for her to move on and find someone else to have kids with instead!

She's announced that they've separated. Good for her, I say.

Wow. I guess she will be better off. Is she doing some American version of X-Factor or something? Thought I heard that somewhere.

I think I saw a headline somewhere that she's not likely to get the American job. I don't think they know her in the US, do they?

They didn't know Cat Deeley before she started doing "So You Think You Can Dance" in the US but she's doing well

Nope, they don't know her at all. Her accent, even for me, would be really difficult for Americans to understand.

Is she? I suppose... I just know my mother is a huge fan of the show but loathes Cat!!

No, Cheryl is not known here and I don't think Victoria Beckham does all that well either.

Really? I know she's a Geordie, but she doesn't have that heavy an accent IMO!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

The only thing I ever understand out of that woman's mouth is 'meself,' even that throws me off sometimes  ;)

I think if Simon Cowell backed her on US XFactor, she would do fine.

Please god (I don't care who these people are but...) Ashley Cole *do not* go on TV & make some sort of ridiculous public apology a la Tiger Woods.  I mean, WTF?!  I don't want that to become some bizarre new celeb trend.

Hear hear!

I think the fact that Tiger felt he had to go and apologise is so sad. It's a private matter. He should be apologising to his wife, not the world!

Hmmm. Yeah, I never had trouble with her accent at all when I moved here. It seemed incredibly easy compared with my husband's, I guess.  :P ;D I just hope she doesn't change it if she does start working in the US. Everyone up here loves the fact that she's still a proper Geordie.  ;)
