Microsoft Office Word help!
« on: March 01, 2010, 02:58:54 AM »
So I'm doing this newsletter for a group I belong to. I have inherited a Microsoft Word file that was a template. I've managed to work with it reasonably well for the last few months, but we need to expand the newsletter and add new elements. I used to be a graphic designer but only used programs like Quark, In-Design, and Pagemaker. I'd personally never chose to use Word for a newsletter, but I no longer own proper page layout software and I dont' have the time or money to sort out anything else.

What I'm hoping is that someone out there might have used Word enough to take a look at my file and tell me how I can add some things to it. I suspect it's dead easy stuff, but I'm just not finding what I need with their Help files or anything.

Any takers? TIA!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

what exactly are you trying to add to it? Word is one of those programs that can be your best friend and your worst enemy when designing things. I'd be glad to help.

I suspect worst enemy! I have to work this morning but will be back around 2pm east coast time. I'll PM or post back here then. Thanks so much!
