my wife's ILR just arrived back, approved!
« on: March 17, 2010, 11:22:23 AM »
After all the worrying and fretting, we just got a signed delivery from the postman with Christina's ILR approved inside it!

It has been just two weeks and 3 days since we posted it off until we received it back, so not as long as we were expecting at all!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us with advice as we were getting the SET(M) application together, your help was invaluable! x

Congrats!   [smiley=balloon.gif]  Two weeks and three days is jaw-droppingly quick!  The turn-around times have decreased from 3-4 months to 6 weeks, to 4 weeks and now 2 and a half weeks in the last couple of months--AMAZING!  :o

Thanks very much everyone! I guess ours was either a very simple ILR application or they just weren't busy! lol

We posted out the pack on Friday 26th Feb at 3.07pm (I have the Post Office tracking receipt in front of me), meaning it would have only been received in Preston on Monday 1st March. We received the pack back yesterday on Weds 17th March, so it was just a little over 2 weeks!

The luck of the Irish eh? Receiving it back on St Patrick's Day and my surname is Murphy! (Although I'm not Irish, my Great Grandfather was and came from Cork, but I was born in Manchester and so were my Grandfather and my Dad).

Good luck Webyj, I hope you get your ILR back super-fast too!

Best wishes to everyone,

Ian & Christina x

Good luck to you for next year Lisa! I hope all goes well, no reason why it shouldn't do for you really, we as a family are NOT in the best of situations presently. I only work part-time and Christina doesn't work at all at the moment.

It's not based on income or anything like that really, as we have just found out for ourselves. As long as everything is above board and no rules of the FLR have been broken, that's about all it requires really! :D

Super congrats to you and your wife Spud ^_^ gives the rest of us hope, granted I just got into the country and I am not working yet but my husband is also working part-time... so settles the rest of us fears wise considering this whole lengthy process kills the nerves lol. So at the moment our situation is simular.

Congrats again! :D! YAY! thats amazing :D
