I just made a batch of cauliflower soup today.  It's really good(and I don't even really like cauliflower), the recipe is here: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2009/01/cauliflower-soup/

I bought all the ingredients at Lidl too.  I made some modifications, I used Oxo cubes instead of liquid stock, I also used frozen cauliflower (rinsed it with some warm water in a strainer to thaw), I used regular milk and then double cream instead of half and half, I also like more carrot and onion than she uses.  So it's definitely a tweakable recipe, makes a huge batch of soup too :)
